
MBN ARTS is proud to be an accredited Arts Award Centre; all students under the age of 25 have the opportunity to achieve the recognised all the Arts Award Qualification/s – Arts Award Discover and Explore, Bronze, Silver and Gold, which is embedded into their arts programme. The qualifications focus on exploring, creating and sharing a diverse range of creative pathways and outcomes and building leadership skills at the same time.
The Arts Award is a great way to integrate classroom learning with creative expression and is ideal for children and young people, who are both practically minded or academically inclined.

**Arts Award is not equal in size to GCSEs or A Levels but young people are working and assessed at comparable standards
Arts Award qualifications are regulated by Ofqual (Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation) in England, CCEA Regulation in Northern Ireland and by Qualifications Wales. The awarding organisation is Trinity College London (TCL). Arts Award is managed by Trinity College London in association with Arts Council England.

The Arts Award allows the young people the opportunity to explore not only a wide range of creative pathways, but also research and experience the creative industry. This includes visitings design organisations, being audience members at shows and performances and meeting and interviewing creatives and professionals within the industry. This provides great insight into the possible artistic career options that are available to them.
The Arts Award provides young people the opportunity to experience and celebrate their achievements. Helping to provide an open mindset to learning, and positive steps into adulthood.
