Food Technology

In MBN Arts’ Food Technology project, young people learn practical cooking, baking and nutrition skills through hands-on sessions. From exploring world cuisines to developing food safety and independence, the project builds confidence, creativity and essential life skills in a fun, supportive environment.

Wood Work

In our Woodwork Project, young people learn practical joinery and creative construction by designing and building real pieces — from benches to small furniture and artistic objects. Through measuring, cutting, shaping and finishing, participants gain hands-on skills, confidence and the sense of achievement that comes from making something tangible with their own hands.

Photography

At MBN Arts our Photography Project gives young people the chance to explore photography and visual storytelling — from composition and lighting to digital editing and creative shoots. Through guided sessions they build technical skills and creative vision, learning to capture moments that reflect their style, voice and perspective while growing confidence in a supportive arts space.

Design Technology

Our Design Technology course invites young people to take on design challenges — from decorative items to mechanical prototypes — guiding them through planning, building, refining and problem-solving. With hands-on making and creative thinking, participants develop practical skills, resilience and creative confidence in a supportive, alternative-education setting.

Clay Creations

In our Clay Creations project, young people get hands-on with clay to sculpt imaginative creatures, characters and models. Through shaping, texturing and finishing, they explore form and creativity in a supportive environment — turning ideas into tangible sculptures and building practical skills, confidence and artistic expression.
